ASSE–Laval: Access and entry at Geoffroy-Guichard

Digital tickets, the closed Kop Nord, transport and services for the November 7 match

AS Saint-Étienne host Stade Lavallois on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 8 p.m. in Saint-Étienne, in Ligue 2 BKT’s 12th round. To reach and enter Stade Geoffroy-Guichard without missing an important instruction, the priorities are to have the correct ticket in the app, check the stand named on it and remember that the Kop Nord will be closed. The official page does not identify a time zone, so the published Saint-Étienne time should not be converted.

Conditions may change before the match. Check the practical guidance published by ASSE, the club’s official website and the official ticket office before leaving.

Confirm your ticket and stand before departure

The LFP Disciplinary Commission ordered the Charles-Paret stand to close for three matches. The Kop Nord will therefore remain closed for ASSE–Laval. The club reported that seats were available in the other stands and also directed supporters to its official ticket exchange. Availability can change, however, so check the ticket office directly rather than assuming tickets can be bought on arrival.

Digital season-ticket holders, people with Kop Sud seats and buyers using the ticket exchange must retrieve their ticket through the official ASSE app. The club advises downloading and opening it before setting out so that the download can be validated. This QR code cannot be printed, although it can be transferred to someone else or offered through the ticket exchange within the app.

At the turnstile, ASSE instructs visitors to scan the QR code on the reader to their right. Updating the app, increasing screen brightness and keeping the ticket open are sensible precautions; the latter two are editorial suggestions, not rules announced by the club.

Getting to Geoffroy-Guichard

The published address is 14 rue Paul et Pierre Guichard, Saint-Étienne. According to the club’s notice, buses and trams across the Saint-Étienne Métropole network are free throughout Saturdays, with no ticket to buy or validate. Operating conditions can change, so confirm this arrangement on the official page before travelling.

By tram, use Geoffroy-Guichard/Musée des Verts on line T3 or Roger-Rocher/Allez Les Verts on T1, which the club describes as a five-minute walk away. Bus routes 8, 17, 25, 27 and C1 serve Terrasse, followed by a walk of under ten minutes; M9 serves Technopôle.

For rail arrivals, the notice places Saint-Étienne Châteaucreux TGV station 3 km from the stadium and suggests continuing by tram. Saint-Étienne Carnot and Saint-Étienne La Terrasse TER stations are listed at 2 km and 1 km respectively. These are ASSE’s published distance estimates, not guaranteed journey times.

Bicycle and Vélivert options

Vélivert shared bicycles can be taken to the station in front of the entrance to Parc des Sports de l’Étivallière, beside the stadium’s main car park. For private bicycles, ASSE advertises a free, monitored parking area on the south forecourt, a short distance from the stands.

It opens three hours before kick-off and has limited capacity, so the club strongly recommends booking. Bicycle collection is available until 50 minutes after the final whistle; after that point, monitoring is no longer guaranteed. The ticket website also lists this service as Peloton Vert, where current conditions should be checked.

Storage service and refused items

An outdoor storage service near gate B is scheduled to open at 5:30 p.m. The published fee is €2 for up to three items. Within that limit, it is free for season-ticket holders and supporters who buy products from the Boutique des Verts on matchday. The announced closing time is 10:30 p.m.

The source links to a prohibited-items list but does not reproduce its contents. It would therefore be unsafe to guess what will be admitted. Check Objets interdits & consignes on the official ticket website and avoid reaching security with an item whose admission has not been confirmed.

Shop, museum and published hours

The Boutique des Verts is scheduled to open at 10 a.m. and operate after the match until later than 11 p.m. The Musée des Verts is due to welcome visitors from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Stadium tours are listed for 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., with booking directed by the club.

These hours apply specifically to November 7, 2026. They do not establish opening times on another date, and a photograph of the ticket office or stadium does not prove that a service is open when a visitor arrives.

Security, conduct and the final check

ASSE asks spectators to avoid insulting, discriminatory or homophobic behaviour and chants. Anyone who experiences or witnesses sexist, physical or verbal aggression can use the reporting form linked from the club’s page.

The source does not give an exact gate-opening time. Allow enough time for security checks, but do not treat an estimate as official information. Shortly before departure, recheck your ticket, stand, any access changes, the prohibited-items list and service availability through ASSE’s official channels.
