The bag accepted at a K-pop concert in the United States depends on the venue and, in some cases, the event-specific rules. Buying a clear bag is not enough: some venues permit clear models within certain dimensions, others accept small opaque bags, and some prohibit even clear bags. Before leaving, compare the venue’s official page, the event notice, and the bag’s external dimensions.

Start with the venue and finish with the event page
A comparison of three venues shows why there is no single nationwide rule. UBS Arena permits bags no larger than 12 × 12 × 6 inches, subject to visual or X-ray screening, but prohibits backpacks of every size. MetLife Stadium accepts one clear bag measuring up to 12 × 6 × 12 inches per person and one clutch measuring up to 4.5 × 6.5 inches.
Crypto.com Arena, however, does not allow bags, backpacks, purses, totes, clear bags, fanny packs, or camera bags. The ordinary exception is a clutch or wallet smaller than 5 × 9 × 1 inches, still subject to inspection.
Therefore, search first for the exact venue shown on the ticket. Then look for the event page or its “Know Before You Go” notice. MetLife expressly says policies may change for individual events. Crypto.com Arena also notes that certain rules, including camera rules, may be changed at the artist’s or production’s request.

Measure the bag in the stated order
Venues publish three dimensions, but they do not always list them in the same order. To avoid confusion, measure the external width, height, and depth, including rigid or protruding parts. Do not rely on a store listing: check the actual item with a measuring tape and convert the figures if its label uses centimeters.
A bag that fits one arena’s limit may be rejected by another. At UBS Arena, the published maximum is 12 × 12 × 6 inches. At MetLife, an ordinary opaque bag above the clutch limit does not become acceptable merely because it looks small; category and transparency also matter. At Crypto.com Arena, transparency does not help because the policy expressly includes clear bags among prohibited models.
Photograph the bag beside the measuring tape and save the official page on your phone. The photo does not override the security team’s decision, but it helps you review your measurement before traveling.

Clear does not automatically mean permitted
The phrase “clear bag policy” often creates confusion. At MetLife, an allowed clear bag must meet the 12 × 6 × 12-inch limit, and each person may carry one. A small clutch within the published dimensions is also accepted. Non-clear bags larger than 4.5 × 6.5 inches, as well as backpacks, fanny packs, diaper bags, and briefcases, appear on the prohibited list.
The logic differs at the other venues reviewed. UBS Arena establishes a general size limit and bans all backpacks, without presenting transparency as a requirement in the published text. Crypto.com Arena expressly prohibits clear bags. Buying a clear model without checking the venue can therefore create a problem instead of solving one.

Medical and parental exceptions require attention
Do not assume that a medical need removes the screening requirement. UBS Arena permits medical and baby bags but requires them to be screened before entry. Its policy also provides food and beverage exceptions for medical requirements or special needs; guests with specific dietary needs should contact Guest Services at least 48 hours before the event, according to the official guidance.
At Crypto.com Arena, medical and parental bags smaller than 14 × 14 × 6 inches must go through an X-ray machine. The arena tells visitors to ask an on-site Guest Services team member for directions to the appropriate screening entrance.
At MetLife, the general list prohibits diaper bags that exceed the non-clear bag limit. Because the reviewed page does not detail an equivalent exception there for this type of bag, confirm with the stadium in advance when you have a medical, parental, or equipment-related need. Do not transfer an exception from one arena to another.
Screening is part of entry
Meeting the size limit does not eliminate screening. UBS Arena says authorized bags undergo X-ray or visual screening depending on size. At MetLife, every item is subject to inspection: visitors walk through the metal detector carrying their bags, while metal objects, including phones, are placed on the security table. Anyone refusing screening or bag inspection is denied entry.
At Crypto.com Arena, permitted clutches and wallets are inspected, while medical and parental bags go through X-ray screening. Arrange the contents so they can be examined without delay, and check the prohibited-items list separately. An approved bag does not make everything inside it acceptable.
Confirm storage before traveling
Among the reviewed sources, UBS Arena and Crypto.com Arena mention options for larger bags. UBS Arena says bag check is available in the Great Hall. Crypto.com Arena lists Binbox lockers adjacent to the Kobe Bryant Entrance, next to the LA Kings Monument, rented through the company’s app and built-in payment platform.
This information does not establish prices, available capacity, or whether every item will fit. Recheck the official page near the concert date and have a plan that does not depend on finding a vacant locker. The reviewed MetLife page does not mention bag storage, so do not expect the service without direct confirmation.
Your final check should answer four questions: which bag category is accepted, what the dimensions are, how exceptions work, and whether the event published its own rules. Doing this before arrival reduces the risk of having to choose between missing entry and leaving a personal item behind.
