What the official timetable confirms

The Formula 1 timetable schedules the Grand Prix for 2 p.m. local time on Sunday. The race is set for 71 laps or a maximum of 120 minutes at the Autódromo José Carlos Pace, better known as Interlagos. The page also states that São Paulo is three hours behind UTC and warns that the timetable is subject to change.

The local organizer likewise gives a 2 p.m. start in the São Paulo GP schedule and carries a similar warning. Check one of these pages again before traveling to the circuit or arranging your race-day viewing.

Why the race is in the morning in the US

The US seasonal clock change will already have occurred. New York will be on EST, five hours behind UTC, while Los Angeles will be on PST, eight hours behind. The same official start therefore falls at noon in the East and 9 a.m. on the West Coast.

The United States spans several time zones, so there is no single nationwide start time. This table focuses on the two coasts confirmed by the international source. Readers elsewhere should select their city in a reliable time converter and use the official instant as the reference: November 8 at 2 p.m. BRT/5 p.m. UTC.

Why Europe is four hours ahead

On November 8, metropolitan France and mainland Spain will be observing Central European Time, or CET, which is UTC+1. São Paulo will remain on BRT, UTC−3. When the race begins at 2 p.m. at Interlagos, clocks in both European territories will show 6 p.m.

The Spanish time applies to the mainland. This guide does not provide a Canary Islands conversion because the supplied pages do not include a specific territorial source for it.

What the Interlagos weekend includes

The official event page describes a 4.309-kilometer circuit and a 71-lap race covering 305.879 kilometers. The calendar approved and announced by the FIA assigns November 6–8 to the São Paulo round.

The published schedule has two practice sessions on Friday, a third practice session and qualifying on Saturday, and no sprint race. Qualifying is scheduled for 3 p.m. BRT on Saturday, November 7.

Broadcasts and schedule changes

This guide does not name a US television channel, streaming service or subscription because no verified US broadcaster source was provided. The Brazilian broadcast information should not be assumed to apply in another country.

Check the service available in your area and reconfirm the official timetable close to the event. Formula 1 and the local organizer both state that the schedule may change.
