Corona Capital 2026 takes place on November 20, 21 and 22 at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City. To prevent trouble on arrival, bring your ticket, check the gate assigned to your access type and limit your belongings to a small bag no larger than 30 × 30 cm. International buyers collecting tickets locally need an official photo ID and the card used for the purchase. Because official pages give different directions for some gates, reconfirm your entrance on the festival map and through its channels close to the date.

Where the festival will take place
The Corona Capital information page places the event at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez and lists Avenida Río Churubusco, Puerta 5, Ciudad Deportiva, Granjas México, Iztacalco, 08400, Mexico City. The FAQ, meanwhile, locates the festival at Curva 4 and gives Viaducto Río de la Piedad, with no street number, as a reference in the same neighborhood and postal code.
This difference does not necessarily mean there is one entrance for everyone. The official FAQ names gates 6 and 15 for festival entry but, in another answer, identifies gates 7 and 15 for pedestrian or vehicle access. Treat these numbers as preliminary references: consult the latest official map and the instructions linked to your ticket before leaving.

Getting there by public transport
For visitors using public transport, the published guidance identifies three Line 9 Metro stations: Velódromo, Ciudad Deportiva and Puebla. The Metrobús references are UPIICSA and El Rodeo, both on Line 2. The FAQ says Metro service ends at midnight, but operating hours may change; verify them directly with Mexico City’s transport system during the week of your visit.
Taxis, ride-hailing services, bicycles and cars are also mentioned, without a specific route or mandatory drop-off point. If driving, the FAQ directs vehicles to the parking entrance at Gate 15 on Calle Añil and warns that spaces are subject to availability. The parking page also says there will be a designated passenger drop-off and pickup area. Vehicles must be removed at the end of each festival day, and staying, camping, sleeping, cooking or drinking alcohol in the parking areas is prohibited.
Tickets and identification
The first checkpoint verifies tickets and official identification; an airport-style inspection follows and may involve emptying pockets and bags, examining belongings, a brief body check and possibly removing shoes. The festival states that it may refuse entry and that people and vehicles inside the grounds may also be searched.
To prove age in 18+ areas or purchase alcohol, accepted documents are an INE voter card or a Mexican or international passport, bearing a photograph and date of birth. Organizers say a Mexican driver’s license, school or consular ID, and any expired document will not be accepted. Although the published recommendation is for visitors to be 16 or older, the FAQ describes the event as open to all ages and says children aged three and older require a ticket; there is no dedicated children’s area.
People living outside Mexico can purchase through Ticketmaster México. According to the FAQ, international purchases designated for collection will be held at the Gate 5 Will Call on Avenida Viaducto Río de la Piedad during the festival days. Buyers must present an official photo ID and the credit card used for the transaction. The page lists hours from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., but reconfirm that window in your order and Ticketmaster instructions before traveling.
Bags and items allowed through inspection
The official item list allows small bags, belt bags, handbags and single-compartment backpacks no larger than 30 × 30 cm. Mobile phones, sunglasses, hats, earplugs, cream sunscreen, portable batteries and empty recyclable plastic bottles of up to one liter are also allowed.
Prescription medication requires a doctor’s prescription. Nonprofessional flash cameras, action cameras measuring less than 12 cm and extendable GoPro sticks appear among the permitted items. Professional equipment, removable lenses, tripods, large zoom lenses and audio-recording equipment are prohibited.
Do not bring outside food or drinks, glass containers, cans, aerosols, perfume, umbrellas, blankets, chairs, oversized bags, cigarettes, e-cigarettes, vaporizers, binoculars, lasers, weapons or illegal substances. The list also prohibits over-the-counter medication and eye drops. Inspection policies can be updated, so review the official page shortly before the event, especially if you need to carry a medical item.
Reentry, weather and planning
There is no reentry after a ticket has been scanned. Check your ID, phone battery, clothing and essential items before passing security. The festival recommends monitoring the weather forecast; umbrellas are prohibited, while the FAQ suggests a raincoat or suitable jacket instead.
The FAQ lists gates opening from 2 p.m. and an approximate finish at 2 a.m. It also mentions an entry cutoff that usually occurs three hours before the final performance. Because this wording does not confirm a cutoff for each date, do not rely on it: verify the schedule and operational notice for the day on your ticket.
Accessibility and medical assistance
The festival says designated ramps for wheelchair users and their companions, accessible restrooms and accessible public concession areas will be available. The grounds combine concrete, grass, gravel and dirt; they are described as mostly flat, with some slopes between stages. On arrival, visitors are directed to the information booth to locate accessible areas.
Parking for visitors with disabilities is at Gate 15, according to the dedicated parking page. Service animals are accepted with supporting documentation; other animals are not permitted. First-aid stations staffed by medical personnel will also be identified on the festival map. Before visiting, recheck the information, security and accessibility guidance, since entrances and procedures are subject to change.
