Children and teenagers may attend many K-pop concerts in the United States, but there is no single nationwide rule governing minimum age, chaperones or child tickets. Before paying, families should check the performance page and the venue’s official website. If a venue’s general guidance differs from a show-specific condition, treat the event rule as controlling and ask customer service to confirm it.

Check the rule for each individual show
Ticketmaster instructs buyers to find the event and select “More Info” on the website or the “i” icon in the app. Age restrictions and child-ticket guidelines may appear there. If the information is unavailable or remains unclear, its guidance is to consult the venue’s official website.
The music genre, artist or perceived target audience is therefore not enough to establish whether a minor may enter. Two K-pop performances in different cities or arenas may have different conditions. Even events in the same building may be governed by rules set for that particular production.
Make sure you are reading the listing for the correct date and city. A rule found for another tour stop does not establish the conditions for the show your family plans to attend.

Minimum age and chaperones are separate questions
First, confirm whether a minimum age applies. Next, determine whether the minor may enter alone or must be accompanied. The absence of a published minimum age should not automatically be read as permission for a teenager to attend unaccompanied.
The wording should also identify who may serve as the chaperone. Do not assume the chaperone’s required age, a family relationship or the acceptance of written parental permission unless the event or venue publishes that condition. When a rule uses only terms such as “adult” or “guardian,” ask customer service for an answer that applies to the young person’s exact age.
Save the page, message or case number you receive. That confirmation can help the family purchase the correct combination of tickets, although the current rules on the event date still take precedence.

Free child admission may still have conditions
Children’s rules and prices vary by event, and Ticketmaster says child prices are not available for every event. Buyers should check “More Info,” the app’s “i” icon or the venue link provided on the listing.
Crypto.com Arena’s general policy illustrates why the child’s precise age matters. At all sporting events and most concerts, children age 2 and under do not need a ticket, provided they sit on an adult’s lap and do not occupy a seat. Children age 3 and older need a ticket and may occupy only their ticketed seat. The venue warns that certain shows, especially those intended for children, have a different policy and directs visitors to the specific event page or Guest Services in its official arena guide.
That policy belongs to Crypto.com Arena and must not be extended to another venue. “Free admission” also does not mean a free seat when the condition requires the child to remain on an adult’s lap.

What to verify before completing payment
Find four clear answers on the show page: the minimum age, whether a chaperone is required, who qualifies as that chaperone, and the age at which every child needs a ticket. Also check whether a child admitted without a ticket may occupy a seat—in the Crypto.com Arena example, the child may not.
Compare the number of attendees with the number of required tickets. If two teenagers must attend with an adult, for example, you still need to confirm whether one chaperone may supervise both; the reviewed sources do not establish a general rule on this point.
Do not assume a child-price option will be sold merely because children are admitted. Ticketmaster expressly notes that child pricing is not offered for every event.
Where to look when the listing has no answer
Start with the official event page, then check the venue page and finally use the official customer-service channel. Include the age, city and date in your question: “May a 15-year-old enter this event without an adult?” is more likely to yield a useful answer than “Are minors allowed?”.
Some venues also send information close to the event. The UBS Arena FAQ states that Ticketmaster purchasers receive a pre-event email containing key information. This does not replace checking before purchase, nor does it establish that other venues follow the same practice.
If the policy remains unavailable, do not assume permission. Seek confirmation before buying travel, accommodation or nonrefundable tickets. Review the terms again near the performance date because rules are subject to change.
On the day of the concert
Bring all required tickets and follow the current event instructions. Crypto.com Arena is at 1111 South Figueroa Street, Los Angeles, CA 90015; UBS Arena is at 2400 Hempstead Turnpike, Elmont, NY 11003. These addresses identify the cited examples only and do not indicate that a particular concert will take place there.
The central point is straightforward: purchase only after matching every attendee’s age to the published rule for that performance. This prevents families from confusing admission for minors, chaperone requirements and entitlement to a seat—three decisions that may follow different criteria.
