Nebraska vs. Indiana: kickoff, broadcast and stakes

Both teams enter Memorial Stadium unbeaten; FOX has confirmed U.S. coverage

Nebraska and Indiana meet Saturday, October 10, 2026, shortly after 11 a.m. Central Daylight Time at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln. That is noon Eastern, 9 a.m. Pacific, 1 p.m. in Brasília and 6 p.m. in metropolitan France and mainland Spain. FOX will carry the game in the United States, while the Huskers Radio Network will provide radio coverage. The available sources do not confirm an official broadcast in Brazil, France or other international markets; viewers outside the U.S. should check local listings and authorized services in their territory.

Confirmed kickoff time and coverage

The Nebraska Athletics announcement sets kickoff for 11 a.m. CT and identifies FOX as the television broadcaster. Those time conversions refer to the same confirmed kickoff instant on October 10.

FOX is therefore confirmed only for the U.S. audience. Sports rights differ from one country to another, so the channel or its streaming access should not be assumed to be available internationally. Check official listings close to kickoff because distribution arrangements can change.

Why this matchup matters

Both teams arrive at 5–0 overall and 2–0 in Big Ten play. They are among only 15 remaining unbeaten FBS teams, according to the Indiana Athletics game guide. For Nebraska, this is its best start since 2016 and its first 2–0 opening in conference play since 2017.

Indiana arrives as the defending national champion and ranks seventh in the Associated Press poll through the games of October 3. The standings published by the NCAA list the Hoosiers at 5–0 with one first-place vote. Nebraska received 48 points but remained outside the Top 25.

Nebraska’s current form

The Cornhuskers are coming off a 48–23 home win over Maryland. Nebraska trailed by nine late in the second quarter, then scored two touchdowns in under three minutes before halftime and pulled away in the second half.

The official Nebraska preview notes that the team has won each of its first five games by at least 18 points. The offense has scored 30 or more in every game, while the defense has allowed opponents to convert only 21.3% of third downs, the second-best national rate in that report.

Indiana’s streak and the series history

Indiana defeated Rutgers 47–15, generated 593 yards of offense and extended its winning streak to 21 games. The Hoosiers finished 2025 at 16–0 and have a 32–2 record under head coach Curt Cignetti.

Indiana leads the all-time series 11–9–3. The Hoosiers won the latest meeting 56–7 in Bloomington in 2024, while Nebraska took the last game in Lincoln 35–21 in 2022. Saturday will also mark the first time since 2006 that Nebraska has hosted the defending national champion.

Essential information for stadium visitors

Memorial Stadium uses mobile-only tickets and is cashless. Nebraska recommends downloading tickets and parking credentials to a phone before arriving. A clear-bag policy and walk-through screening are in effect. Outside food and drinks are prohibited, although empty personal water bottles may be brought in for refilling.

The official 2026 game-day information also states that re-entry is not permitted: once a spectator leaves, the ticket becomes invalid. Gates 1, 6 and 8 are closed throughout the season, while Gate 11 is reserved for ADA and service access. Construction may affect walking routes, parking and gate entry. Visitors should consult the official page before departure for possible operational and traffic changes.
