Real Madrid vs Leipzig: kickoff time and French broadcaster

Real Madrid and Leipzig play on Wednesday, 21 October 2026, at 21:00 CEST, at the Spanish club’s stadium. In France, the official reference is Canal+, the territorial partner listed by UEFA for the 2026/27 Champions League. UEFA’s page does not, however, say which of the group’s channels or platforms will show this specific match, so viewers should check the schedule close to kickoff.

Date, time and stadium

Real Madrid’s official October schedule lists Real Madrid vs Leipzig for 21 October at 21:00 CEST, at the club’s stadium in Madrid. UEFA’s team-by-team fixture list also places the match on that date, during league-phase Matchday 3.

There is a discrepancy worth noting: the ticket-page heading displays “19h”, while the club schedule gives 21:00 CEST. Because the ticket information itself advises supporters to confirm the date and time, anyone attending should check the official ticket page again before travelling.

Where to watch in France

UEFA’s official broadcast-partner list names Canal+ as the Champions League rights partner in France. This confirms the territorial broadcaster, not guaranteed coverage on a particular linear channel or app.

The practical step is to check the Canal+ schedule and subscription conditions on matchday. The supplied source does not specify a channel, package, price or free-viewing option, so none of those arrangements can be promised.

What has been announced in Spain?

Real Madrid’s schedule associates the match with Orange TV and Movistar Liga de Campeones. That information applies to Spain and should not be transferred to viewers in France. Rights, packages and access differ between territories.

For the French audience, UEFA’s territorial listing—Canal+—is the relevant confirmation. Having a Spanish subscription or app does not by itself establish availability in France.

How the mobile ticket works

Real Madrid says sales for this match are exclusively online and continue while seats remain. For online purchases, the ticket downloaded to a phone is the only valid admission document; Print at Home tickets are not accepted.

The named official outlets are realmadrid.com and entradas.com, with no telephone sales. The club also says exchanges and refunds are not accepted. Tickets bought under the specified member and Madridista categories are personal and non-transferable, and identity or membership documents may be requested.

Every spectator, including a child, needs an individual ticket. Wheelchair users must hold a ticket for the designated area. The stadium has no left-luggage facility, while bulky objects, pushchairs, suitcases and certain umbrellas are prohibited. All conditions should be checked again through the official link before attending.

Guidance for away supporters

Seats allocated to Leipzig supporters can only be purchased through the German club and are located in a segregated section. Real Madrid warns that visiting fans holding tickets obtained elsewhere and outside that section may be refused admission.

This makes it especially important to avoid unofficial resellers. In addition to the risk of access problems, Real Madrid says it will not accept responsibility for incidents involving tickets bought outside its authorised channels.

The next match is El Clásico

After the European fixture, Real Madrid visit Barcelona on 25 October at 21:00 CEST at Camp Nou, according to the club schedule. El Clásico concludes the five-match October sequence listed by the team.

That leaves four days between the Leipzig match and Barcelona vs Real Madrid. Dates, kickoff times, broadcasts and admission rules may change; complete a final check on the official pages before watching or travelling.
